Kraemer, Manes & Associates LLC (“KM&A”) has filed a complaint against Air Star Transportation & Limousine Services, Inc. (“Air Star”), in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
The complaint alleges that Air Star violated the Plaintiff’s rights under the Family and Medical Leave Act (“FMLA”), the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”), as well as two other state wage laws. More specifically, the complaint alleges that Air Star unlawfully discriminated against the Plaintiff because of medical issues he was experiencing, including but not limited to by terminating his employment with the company. The complaint also alleges that Air Star failed to pay the Plaintiff the appropriate amounts for certain time he worked for the company.
